Multicampus Energy Community: Progress Toward Green Hydrogen

To address the climate and energy crisis, Universidad Libre has implemented an energy transition strategy based on photovoltaic solar energy. Currently, over 600 kWp are generated across 9 campuses, with an expectation to reach 5000 kWp by 2025-2026. This project includes the development of a green hydrogen pilot plant using PEM electrolyzers and water treatment systems to provide clean energy to the University’s 10 campuses, benefiting approximately 15,000 people.

Industry 5.0 goes beyond the digitalization and automation of Industry 4.0, focusing on sustainability and resilience through the integration of Human and Artificial Intelligence.
